Description:
Photography workshops at the National Trust's Anglesey Abbey site near Cambridge. This a great location to learn and photograph within the wonderful landscape, from the fabulous gardens to the river and mill.
The workshops are:
Landscape Photography - Saturday 16th November 2025 9:30am-Noon £20 - Learn about the art of landscape photography and how to compose your photos and use different settings to create stunning images. Click for more details and to book
Close Up Photography - Saturday 16th November 2025 1:00pm-3:30pm £20 - On this workshop we take a closer look at the wonderful woodlands at Sutton Hoo and discover a wealth of photo opportunities, often overlooked. Click for more details and to book
There is a reduced rate (£40) if you book both workshops Click for more details and to book
Who it is suitable for:
Photographers of all ability, from beginners to more advanced.
What to bring:
Camera - Spare battery can be useful when using your camera a lot.
Lenses - A range of focal lengths will be useful, from wide angle to telephoto if you have them.
Tripod - If you have one, although not essential.
Cable release - Not essential, but useful if you have one to use with a tripod.
Filters - Not essential, but useful if you have them.
What to wear:
Sturdy footwear is advisable. As is waterproof coat/trousers.
Toilets:
There are toilets at Sutton Hoo.
Not included:
Personal insurance and camera insurance.
