Description:
Join me for this Thetford Forest in Black & White workshop. We will photograph the wonderful forest in winter, without colour. Exploring the textures and shapes as you learn to view the world in monochrome. There will be plenty of close-up opportunities as well. Your camera should have a black & white (monochrome) setting on it to use during this workshop. If you shoot in RAW you will get the colour version of your images as well so you can convert to black & white on your computer after the workshop.
Who it is suitable for:
Photographers of all ability, from beginners to more advanced. From compact camera, bridge camera to DSLR (not suitable for mobile phone photographers).
What to bring:
Camera - Spare battery can be useful when using your camera a lot, especially I the cold.
Lenses - A macro lens or extension tubes could be useful for some shots although not essential. Many lenses will allow you to focus in quite close as standard.
A range of focal lengths will be useful, from wide angle to telephoto.
Tripod - If you have one, some are available to borrow if needed.
Cable release - Not essential, but very useful if you have one.
What to wear:
Sturdy footwear is advisable. As is a waterproof coat/trousers for the British weather and wrap up warm.
Refreshments:
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Toilets:
There are no public toilets at this workshop location.
Not included:
Personal insurance, camera insurance and travel (to, from or during the workshop).
