Description:
A chance to photograph the wonderful landscape of the west coast of the Highlands, Scotland. We will take in various locations for sunrise and sunset potential (sunrise and sunset not guaranteed!). I've photographed this area, many times over the years, and it is a place you simply can’t get bored of!
From Gruinard Bay in the south, up to Durness and Smoo Cave on the north coast, with castles, waterfalls, lochs and mountains a plenty in between, the scenery is stunning.
Sunrise is around 7:30am and sunset is around 4:45pm so weather permitting we will aim to get both when we can. We will start at 10am on day one, which gives people who travel the day before a slightly easier start.
With a mix of composition and technical tips there is a good variety throughout the day. Being in a small group you have plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Who it is suitable for:
Photographers of all ability, from beginners to more advanced (not suitable for mobile phone photographers). A reasonable level of fitness is required as there will be some walking (uphill) to and from locations.
